Heat Inverse’s passive cooling films have the potential to reduce emissions from the electric grid, refrigeration industry, data centers, dairy operations, and more. The I-Corps alumni startup has secured $1,275,000 in Small Business Innovation Research grants from the NSF, along with support from the Launch NY Seed Fund. The Ithaca-based company employs four people in the small city and is incubated at Rev: Ithaca Startup Works. In 2024, Heat Inverse moved into a new space in the nearby town of Lansing in order to bring its manufacturing in-house and test new materials.
