QAS.AI, an I-Corps alumni startup from Buffalo, is at the forefront of developing AI-powered software designed to detect complications during brain surgery—such as impaired blood flow—and predict the success of chosen treatments in real time. With the support of a $1 million Phase II grant from the NSF STTR program, the company is advancing its research toward clinical evaluations at two sites.
